He is one of the founding members of gothic junk folk expressionists Peeesseye, and a member of the group Phantom Limb & Bison. Other notable collaborators have included guitarist Tetuzi Akiyama, trumpeter Nate Wooley, singer and songwriter Meg Baird, and choreographers Miguel Gutierrez and RoseAnne Spradlin. Other recent and upcoming releases include the Dirty Pool LP (Ultramarine) with Farfisa organist Shawn Edward Hansen, and a long list of Peeesseye projects. Forsyth’s next solo LP, titled Paranoid Cat will feature contributions from members of Peeesseye and will be out in fall 2010.
